Re: 64-bit support for Snow Leopard?

Hi all, unfortunately we could not confirm the current Mac driver to work for both: 32bit and 64 bit. Sorry for the delay. We are now working on a solution for 64bit, too. Please be patient and check from time to time our download site for a new release. Hello, do you have any expected release time...

+1

I agree. In fact, I was going to a bigger 3D Connexion device, but then I thought WAIT!!! It won't work, no extra buttons, no nothing, just the same as the spacenavigator.

I just think they need to hire aditional someone to program their drivers for the mac. More software, etc....

New version 1.5.8 Still doesn't solve the problem.

I'll keep an eye for upcoming updates

Same problem here. Snow Leopard 64 bits not working. Snow Leopard 32 bit, working. Possibly need to recompile the driver.

Dear Bryan: It does not work at all. The blue light is off, the demos doesn't work (in 64 bit mode)

Latest version (to my knowledge) 1.5.7

In the 3dconnexion preference pane, there is a button CALIBRATE. Press it and then try again. It may solve your problem.

Best wishes

EDIT: When you press the button do not touch the spacenavigator

In the 3dconnexion preference pane there is a button CALIBRATE. Try it, I think it can solve your problem. It happened once to me. After updating to GE 4.1 and 3DxMacWare v1.2.0, things are much faster and more fluid. I am having one problem and don't know if it is a Space Navigator problem or a GE ...

It happens the same to me, sometimes. I have sent reports (at least I press a button which says SEND REPORT). But no other information is given. Let's assume someone will fix it.

Are you planning to add support to illustrator CS3 with the same functionality as photoshop cs3? I mean ability to pan and zoom.

Thanks

It will probably work, since I have been able to test google earth, sketchup, autocad and some othe apps emulated through parallels. The problem is that under parallels you won't get accelerated 3D and everything looks like slowmotion. But the driver and the device are working under the emulated OS ...

Since I am a GE Pro user I have sent an email to Google support asking for a new release of the mac app with support for 3dconnexion devices. I hope this tiny sand grain can help. I would also like to encourage all users to do the same.

Good luck
