I tried our copy of XSI 6.0 Advanced, Essentials and Foundation, I could navigate in all of them. I didn't try to map buttons, but this should be possible as well.

does the spacepilot use the same "interface" as the spaceball?
my question is, if i can use a spacepilot with a software that is working with a spaceball.
in this regard: are those two devices compatible???

As far as I read there is "only" native support for a certain amount of well-know 3d modelling programs. Like "3ds max" or "maya" @connexion: can you give details on how far progress has grown for native support of programs like "lightwave" or "truespace&...
