Maya 2019.2 and 3DxWare 10.6.3
The combination of Maya 2019.2 and 3DxWare 10.6.3 results in Maya hanging on shutdown. ( Brand new install of Maya 2019.2 and 3DxWare. Default Maya installation, no other 3rd party plugins loaded. ) The only way to shut it down is to kill the process from Task Manager itself. Unloading the 3DxWare p...

Re: Maya 2018 Bug
I don't see a method to edit my previous post but wanted to report the following: The missing focus indicator issue appears to be a Viewport 2.0 problem. ( Which is the default viewport in Maya 2018. The legacy viewport is only available via an environment variable fix. ) If I'm using Viewport 2.0, ...

Re: Maya 2018 Bug
I have noticed the following while working in Quad-Draw with a live mesh active: It seems that the SpaceMouse will periodically lose focus on whatever geometry I'm working on. For a time, it functions perfectly, orbiting and panning about the geometry as expected. Then, what seems to be randomly, it...

Maya 2018 Bug
Have been trying to hunt down a source that keeps freezing up Maya ( goes non-responsive ) and think I may have finally nailed it down. For the record, I'm using Maya 2018.4 and 3DxWare 10.5.10 on a SpaceMouse Pro. ( Windows 7 OS ) If I move the scene ( any scene, even a default empty one ) in any w...

Potential Bug
Loaded and running v10.2.8 r2007 version of the software on an Alienware M17 Laptop ( Windows 7 ) Usually, when the laptop boots it will enable / disable the Synaptics touchpad depending on if it detected a mouse plugged in or not. Recently, the laptop has been disabling the touchpad even with nothi...

Re: 3DS Max 2012 Perspective Window
After further playing with this, I can say the 3dconnexion device works with no issues as long as the timeline slider is sitting at zero. ( I use both a SpaceMouse Pro and a Space Navigator ) *This also assumes you have keyframes in place along the timeline.* The moment the timeline slider moves off...

Re: 3DS Max 2012 Perspective Window
It's gotta be something with the timeline I'm thinking.
I opened the scene fresh and set my timeline to display 0-1000 and have no issues. If I set the timeline to display say 600-1000 instead, all of a sudden the lag / delay issue pops up. Is odd.

3DS Max 2012 Perspective Window
I'm a long time user of 3dconnexion products ( my previous one being the SpaceBall 5000 usb ) and recently acquired two new devices as my original SpaceBall is no longer driver supported for the more recent versions of the software I use. That said, I've run into a peculiar issue within 3DS Max 2012...
