Worked perfectly, I thought I had removed everything from the beta drivers. But I had forgotten about the appdata folder.

I am having the same issue but with the SpaceNavigator. The menu "3Dconnexion" does show up on the menu bar inside Maya and lists Properties and http://www.3Dconnexion.com under it. Clicking on "Properties" inside Maya does nothing. When I open the properties through system tray ...
