Im still following this thread In the mean time i did some experimenting at the weekend and now it seems to work I have installed driver 3.17.8 and at least it is usable again. Doesn't work at all in 3Dmax when Inventor is running as well Opened multiple tabs in Inventor with some complicated models...

sad to say my problems , even with a fresh install of Inventor 2015. are back again. It just seems to stick. If i maintain pressure on the 3D mouse AND use the keyboard to orbit it kind of jumps back into life until the next orbit or pan. Such a frustrating experience ive done away with the 3D mouse...

I have just upgraded my mother board so it will be a while before i can reinstall inventor and try to create the log file
