Check Update not working

I have 3DxWareMac 10.4.3 installed. I've been using the "Check Update" button in System Preferences. 3DxMacWareUpdater.app makes a connection to the server, then reports "The installed 3DxMacWare software is up to date." But it's not up to date. I see that 10.4.4 has been out for...

3D Mouse Home always shows at startup.

Using 3DxWare 10.4.2, 3D Mouse Home always shows at startup, even if I uncheck the "Always show on startup" box.

How can I prevent it?

Re: major malfunction in MODO for Mac...

The problem has been addressed in the new SP2 release. But there's still a bug where 3DxVirtualLCD can malfunction when using SpaceNavigator, so you may need to disable it. See the other topic on that in this forum...

3DxVirtualLCD using >90% CPU

Using MODO 801 SP2 and Space Navigator, the process "3DxVirtualLCD" uses over 90% CPU. What is the purpose of it? I can't find any information about it anywhere, except that it's something to do with Space Mouse Pro. If I kill the process, everything seems to work ok. Assuming it's not nee...

major malfunction in MODO for Mac...

In the latest release of MODO, the SpaceNavigator/Pilot/Mouse is not working, see this thread: http://community.thefoundry.co.uk/discussion/topic.aspx?f=32&t=63150&page=7 Supposedly they're "aware of it and working on it" but I'm skeptical, seems it's been many months and several r...

Re: deadband makes Rhino crash

I'm starting to get better at it... at first I was using a very light touch because it seemed so sensitive, but now I'm finding a firmer grip works better. Anyway I'm glad I found out how to edit those files and tweak things a bit, thanks.

Re: deadband makes Rhino crash

The Deadband in Global_User.xml seems to work for all the demo apps, as well as Sketchup. It's only a problem with Rhino. Maybe I just haven't figured out the proper technique yet. Is it normal that you should completely remove your hand from the cap when you're not moving the model? With 0 deadband...

Re: deadband makes Rhino crash

Thanks for your answer... I'm using very latest Rhino 5.9.40617.14345 (2014-6-17), you mean Deadband is broken in that, and I should expect it to be fixed in the next release? or it's broken in 3DxWare? Not sure what you mean by "put it in the individual axes" - is there some documentation...

deadband makes Rhino crash

Hi, I just purchased a SpaceNavigator for Notebooks, using it with Rhino 5. I've never used a 3D mouse before... Got it installed, but the control knob seems way too sensitive, it activates if I so much as breathe on it... makes it difficult to use. I'm not talking about the Speed, I want to adjust ...
