Re: Spacenavigator - can't find calibrate option
Hi all, I am sorry that you miss the calibrate functions. Since quite some years all of our products have an autocalibrate function. This means that if the device is sending the same (not too high) values the device is calibrated automatically. This should be as well the case with your devices. If ...

Re: Calibration choice is lost
I'm luckily still on an older driver since I just had to run a calibration a few times to get my 3D mouse to stop acting weird. So I'm also concerned about the apparent removal of this option on newer drivers.

Re: Windows 10 using 10.8.4 driver, System tray, doesn't have option to disable LED
If you go and edit the Global.xml file you can change the led state. C:\Users\<user profile>\AppData\Roaming\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg <LEDsEnabled>false</LEDsEnabled> This should be an entry in the <Settings> area of the xml file, if it doesn't exist you should be able to add it. The led changed stat...

Re: Remote Desktop use of local Space Navigator
Josh T. No install is required to change Home to Pro. You can simply change the key to do the upgrade, though I had to jump through a few hoops like deactivating first to get that to work. You could also do an upgrade install which should let you use a different key and not wipe your current setup. ...

Re: Remote Desktop use of local Space Navigator
Has anyone had success in getting the RemoteFX solution to work when the local (client) computer is running Windows 10 Home (not Pro)? I have Windows 10 Home on my home PC, so I can't open gpedit to enable Remote FX for RDP. I read some posts saying there are scripts to enable the correct settings,...

Re: 3D Mouse over Remote Control Workstation
There is one free working solution that works for most people. If you have Windows 10 Pro at work and home you can use the Windows RDP with RemoteFX USB support. That will allow you to use a 3D mouse at home via remote desktop. This post details the steps to make it work. https://www.3dconnexion.com...

Re: Remote Desktop use of local Space Navigator
Last week I managed to get RemoteFX USB support working between two office PCs using the settings UtaSH posted. I then tried the setup at home but was unsuccessful. I have win7 pro and win10 home at home. I was not able to get either of those versions working. So it appears win10 pro is required to ...

Re: Remote Desktop use of local Space Navigator
I'd love if someone could explain the process they used to get it working. We are going to start working from home some and I tried last night with a wireless spacemouse but couldn't make it work. I'm wondering if I should have tried a wired one, which I'll try this weekend. Thanks

Right click on the tray icon. The LED and calibrate options are found there.

Lack of XML config documentation
Why isn't there real documentation for creating and editing xml configs? The response I've seen before is too look at the default configs but that is not helpful for people who don't know what they are looking at or if something isn't used in those. The driver can apparently do loads of awesome thin...

Creating a RoboGuide Profile
I'm tired of not being able to use my 3D mouse in this application and I want to try making a profile to emulate the 2D mouse control the program uses for pan, rotate, zoom. I'm having trouble with some parts of this because there is no such thing as documentation when it comes to making custom prof...

Re: spacemouse vs spacenavigator
Too late to edit my previous post.
Heard back from the contact form and all they had to say is the SpaceNavigator is not being produced any more but it will still be supported. Didn't comment on the differences which is what I actually wanted to know.

Re: spacemouse vs spacenavigator
I know I'd like to know the difference between the SpaceMouse Compact and the SpaceNavigator, which appear to be the same other than an updated design and $20 more for the newer one. The SpaceNavigator product page is no longer available so it's hard to compare, also makes me wonder if the SpaceNavi...

Comparison of different versions?
I noticed there is a new SpaceMouse Compact so I wanted to compare it to the older versions. I can't find a product page for the SpaceNavigator or SpaceNavigator for Notebooks. Are the previous two being retired? They are still in the store but other information seems to have been removed from the w...
