Well, bit the bullet and done a clean install of Windows 7, Re-installed SW and Spacemouse Pro, and its right again.
How long for, I don't know......

Wish there was an easier way !

Hi Utash, Its listed as just a USB input device under Human Interface Devices. Yes - no difference Yes - no difference No, The icon is gone, as there is no 3DxWare installed anymore. The whole problem being that I cant re-install it. The Error seems to be down to a Visual C+ ? error ( Policy 9.0 Mic...

Tried again this morning, but still the same.

Hopefully wont have to do a full windows re-install, but it's starting to look that way

Also tried both the fixit's for HW and Software.

For sure, it's the P.C.
Just tried it on the Mac and it works ok.

I need it working on the P.C. though - Thats where SolidWorks lives !

Contacted 3Dconnexion UK helpline and spoke to a helpful chap named Gleb,
He took all the details, and hopefully I can get some full on Tech help.


Fingers crossed I can get this working soon....

located installer package - right click and run as administrator.....

Found this, but cant understand why its not giving me administrator rights ?
I am the Administrator !!

After Installation rollback, I get Error 1603 - which is something to do with installing as administrator.
However, I havent changed any administrator rights.

I installed it exactly the same way as I did originally.

This is doing my nut in now, As I need to finish off this assembly.

That didn't work either..
