Re: '3D Spacemouse-Wireless' keeps crashing. Which driver should I use? (on Windows 10 x64)
UPDATE: Out of increasing desperation, I have now installed version 10.6.4 of the "3DxWare10" software. I found it here: https://3dconnexion.com/uk/archived-drivers/?fwp_drivers_product=spacemouse-wireless&fwp_drivers_os=windows-10-64bit At least it hasn't instantly crashed... like the...

PS I am now getting another error: "Error: Could not locate an installed 3Dconnection device. Please install you motion controller driver software before proceeding." How do I install my "motion controller driver software" ? Should I completely re-install the file: 3DxWare64_v10-...

Hello 1. I recently installed version 10.8.2 (64 bit version). I am running Windows10 (x64) 2. I can't get my "3D SpaceMouse - Wireless" to work using OnShape (web). Until recently it WAS working! 3. I keep getting error message saying "3DxWare stopped unexpectedly" And sure enou...

How do I stop unwanted Word documents caused when I reboot?
Hello
My 3DConnection driver "3DxWare v10.5.4" (Windows 64-bit) seems to be creating a blank MS Word document to pop-up every time I reboot. The problem goes away when I uninstall the driver completely.
Do I have a virus?
How do I stop this behaviour?
Thanks
J

Re: How do I rotate in turn-table mode? (using Onshape)
Update: OK I have used Camera view and have reversed EVERYTHING. Finally it now behaves naturally. If I push it away it goes away; drag it right an it goes right etc. It's as if I'm touching my model (very VERY cool to us newbies, btw). I still haven't worked out how to fix my buttons to match the a...

Re: How do I rotate in turn-table mode? (using Onshape)
OK the best I can find is Camera mode.
But I still cant find a way to lock the Z axis so that all rotations of view are orbiting around the Z axis
Any suggestions?

Re: How do I rotate in turn-table mode? (using Onshape)
PS What may (or may not) be part of the problem is that if I click the Right hand bottom on my 3D mouse and select "Top" view, the little cube top right shows "Back" upside down. Front ==> "Top" (with writing correct way up) Right ==> "Right" (but with writing...

How do I rotate in turn-table mode? (using Onshape)
Hello I am new. I just bought a Spacemouse Wireless (3DX-700043). I am using Onshape on Windows 7 x64. When I rotate the black cap, how to I get it to rotate my model around the vertical (Z) axis? i.e. When I rotate my model I want to 'orbit' it, as if it were a building and thereby keeping my verti...
