I installed the old driver:
3DxSoftware (64-bit Edition)
Version:
3.16.3
Released:
2013/03/28

Then I rebooted.
Then I removed this old driver.
Then I rebooted again.
Then I installed the latest driver, with no error 1001 and no error 1603.
Then it worked without reboot.

I try to uninstall drivers on Windows 10 because spacenavigator does not work on windows 10, but I get ERROR 1001 when I select "uninstall".
How do I uninstall the drivers properly??

When will Spacenavigator work with Windows 10. Need a patch!

First , the install error : Error 1001 indicates an issue with the .NET framework installation. Make sure you are logged into an account with full admin permissions. It does not help to remove driver and reboot and then install driver again.
Spacenavigator does not work on Windows 10.

I'm getting error 1001 when I try to install driver. Then I get error 1603.
