Aha,
and when do Mac users get that "Navigation" Tab in driver settings ?
(With that so important "Lock Horizon" option)

Bricscad on Mac
Like with Vectorworks, Bricscad Settings and usability since the Driver Model 2 got a regression. AFAIR Vectorworks said to improve this. In case Bricscad does not .... Is there a way to force important things like "lock horizon" from the driver side ? like by adding entries to the App spe...

Re: Blander and 3DConnexion
Yes, Blender has a Setting for lock horizon and it works well.
Unfortunately only in Blender.
It once did work in Bricscad or VW too.

Re: Blander and 3DConnexion
Well it also works for me now, at least in Blender and as far as Blender's view Navigation is compatible with an Enterprise. But at least since the newest driver, Enterprise seems to be pretty much broken for my CAD Apps. Pretty useless in Vectorworks, but AFAIR they said they will fix that. But eve...

Re: Anyone using Blender with SpaceMouse Enterprise?
Second,.... - how should the new 3DCon Driver Settings Button assignments for Blender with new NDOF look like ? (Every thing set to 3DConnexion Default ?) - If I may have changed Settings for Blender in the past - would installing the latest driver set them back to 3DCon defaults ? - if not, how can...

Re: Anyone using Blender with SpaceMouse Enterprise?
It doesn't work for me. Since I plugged in my Enterprise, Space Navigator Buttons now stopped working again in Blender !? But in Driver the Device Selection came back. Space Nav and Enterprise available. But for Blender Enterprise Buttons do not work at all, just TAB like the last 3 years ... I have...

Re: Anyone using Blender with SpaceMouse Enterprise?
I did not try Enterprise, just a quick test with Blender 4.4 Beta and the old original Space Navigator. Looks like its Buttons are working now and do exactly what I had assigned. That's a quite new experience for me. 3D Navigation also works flawlessly. So for me it looks driver and NDOF update are ...

Re: Anyone using Blender with SpaceMouse Enterprise?
Indeed.
There wasn't much traffic in that thread lately so I missed these updates 3 days ago.
So far I can't find it mentioned in the release notes of 4.4 or 4.5 though.
Maybe it needs another few days.

Re: SpaceMouse buttons unresponsive in Blender
I also installed the driver yesterday but did not test it yet. You do not only need the driver but also a Blender version that supports the new NDOF configuration. Which is likely not for latest official Blender 4.3 from December 2024. And so far I could not see any NDOF settings update mentioned in...

Re: Anyone using Blender with SpaceMouse Enterprise?
Not a big issue, I am not in a hurry. Just don't want to miss the driver release.
I could imagine that for serious Blender work, once it works again, Blender would profit from a few 1-12 hardware buttons and it may be worth to plug in the Enterprise again.

Re: Anyone using Blender with SpaceMouse Enterprise?
3Dconnexion has been collaborating with the Blender Project Team to address this limitation (see here ). Hmmh, not sure what exactly happened on the Blender side. Don't notice much progress in the linked developer request. Please note that the driver update alone is not enough. The Blender Project ...

Re: Issue with CadMouse Pro Wireless: Zoom and Scroll Reversing Sporadically
I have good experience with WD40 on contacts and switches. Unexpectedly, I had similar results with just isopropyl alcohol. It was already a second RMA CADMouse USB replacement that was totally unusable on LMB and RMB again. After disassembling I loaded a syringe, without needle, pressed it on top ...

Re: Buttons mapping doesn't work after updating to Sequoia 15.1
Thanks @ngomes, Meanwhile I also noticed that it is (at least also) a Blender thing. I notice that a few Enterprise buttons do something in Blender 4.2, opposed to 4.3 or 4.4. Nothing useful but they do something in 4.2. (looks like the 1-12 buttons aren't recognized so some other buttons default as...
