Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

Yes, it is all strange and my observations not very helpful. That Hub has a power supply with even a (unused) USB charging slot. And usually it runs only CADMouse, Apple USB keyboard and (3D Navigator) or Enterprise! in that case, fine. (with Enterprise plugged off, at that time too, as preventing f...

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

I tried 3DConn Pane.
It did not allow to edit my devices.

Will look at it again.

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

Another thing, when I plug in 2 external SSDs to a separate USB Hub on the second USB 3 slot of the Mini, CADMouse and Enterprise on Slot1 Hub will no more work. Even after unplugging SSDs, reconnecting CADMouse or Enterprise will no more work until the next Reboot. So for me it looks like the Drive...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

For me, in large files,
Vectorworks 3D View also lags with 3D Navigator,
while running noticeably faster when I just use CTRL+MMB by
Mouse to orbit.

But this is on Windows10 !?
Since I have an AMD RX 6800 GPU ?

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

Unfortunately no.
No I had already calibrated when it occured for the first time.
I see no unwanted data sent at all.
Sensor cab works beautifully in demos.

But tried again.

Monitor + Enterprise Display go dark
Enterprise Display goes on again,
Mini awakes

The LEDs can be switched off in the popup menu of the 3Dconnexion icon in the system tray (right click).
Thanks :)

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

Preventing from sleep ?

I think yes.
If I unplug my Enterprise
(CADMouse still plugged in)
I can put my M1 Mini to sleep as usual.

If I plug Enterprise back in,
Mini will go to sleep and immediately awake again.

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

Don't know what is wrong with 3DCon driver and Apple CMD key. Usually CADMouse and button assignments with CMD Modifier work. But Yesterday I had a whole day to manually press CMD on Keyboard because CMD in CADMouse keystroke assignments was ignored. (At that time, it also didn't work for similar co...

Re: latest Driver broken with latest Windows Update ?

I don't know what the problem with 3DNav and USB+Hub is. Maybe there was a bad last Win10 update. I left the PC alone, it may have fallen to sleep. Went back hours later and Monitor was dead and I wasn't even able to show or enter BIOS. Unplugging and re-cabling everything USB and Monitor finally an...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

I am unable to delete or rename the "Vectorworks 2017" settings, except, I suppose if I go to that .plist file and change something manually. I opened it in Text Edit App, searched for 2017, or which year I had, edited, deleted and saved. Now I have Vectorworks, Bricscad, ... again. But how long ? ...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

But the user PLISt is what is shown in my Driver Settings ? So I would have to go through the list in any case. The driver defaults list in an edited/cleaned mode would prevent me from 3DConnexion writing those delivered unwanted App Settings into my user PLIST. But wouldn't the next driver update o...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

I think it is very goood that uninstallling the driver keeps the user settings. Now that I know where I could delete them manually if needed. But is there any better way to delete all delivered settings of Apps that I don't even have installed, like Autocad, Adobe Products, .... than to search and d...

Re: latest Driver broken with latest Windows Update ?

The device wasn't found in device manager. Only a strange "3DConnexion KMJ Emulator" with a driver from 2011 ? I had it plugged in in my Dell Monitor USB Hub. Plugging out and back in did not work. Tried at a simple 4-port USB, did not work. Tried motherboards cheapest USB 2 keyboard/mouse USB socke...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

Strange. When initial testing the lates driver after cleen install and lots of re-boots in between each step, I also thought the unexpected jumping away out of view geometry was gone. But it also happened again here. At least in Vectorworks, for me the Modifier keys on Enterprise seem to work again ...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

I think @ simon.djin narrowed it down. CMD Key on Apple Keyboard will fail - if any Keystroke combination with CMD+.... was used by any 3DConnexion Device's button assignments before ! This will make Apple ignore the first next press of CMD on the keyboard. So instead of a CMD+A, you will get an "a"...
