Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

And as expected,

for CADMouse USB,
no sign of life showing for any of the Buttons.
Just Cursor Movements and Scroll Wheel.

Original Space Navigator seems to work well.

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

looks like the Enterprise Button mismatch is OS wide,
not only App specific.

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

Thank you, zoomer. We appreciate the information. We did not yet have an independent confirmation for BricsCAD. Just somehow I lost "Lock Horizon" in Bricscad. Buttons 1-12 basically work. Button 1-3 seems to work fine. But many others seem to be mixed up or just duplicated. Looks a bit like my Mac...

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

3Dconnexon released "beta 8" (revision r3277) of the new driver for macOS. The new build can be downloaded from the FAQ page linked here . Among other fixes, we believe to have resolved the Cinema 4D issue (MAC-241) and to close the issue we only confirmation from our customers. looks like that bro...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

Thanks @ngomes. there were previous posts over the Mac sub forum that I misunderstood as "we are working on a KEXT-less driver with Apple API and can support most other devices, but especially not that original CADMouse" My Enterprise and my original Space Navigator seem to work fine in the 3DConnex...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

Sorry, the "original" (first) (USB) CADMouse was mentioned deprecated in original Beta Driver FAQs. I believe the term used was "unsupported". In the particular case of the original CadMouse, the buttons won't work with or without an installed. the CADMouse Wireless came much later, so far from "or...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

Sorry, the "original" (first) (USB) CADMouse was mentioned deprecated in original Beta Driver FAQs. The thing I bought directly after release with my Enterpride+CADMouse+Mousepad Kit. AFAIK the CADMouse Wireless came much later, so far from "original CADMouse" Yes, I see the wireless sibling is adde...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

Not only that it is confirmed that original CADMouse USB does currently
not work with Big Sur. But if I get that right it was also confirmed that
the original CADMouse will never ever run with Big Sur.

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

Here is the question: will it be possible to keep the bright mode on the SME while using the dark mode on the Mac?? Since the dark mode is completely useless on the SME I guess is an easy fix for this problem   We will want to look into this since improving the experience is important bu...

Settings : List of Apps to choose from

Opposed to Windows, in macOS we can choose Settings of any App from a dropdown, not just the active App, which is great ! I prefer that as you can switch to compare Settings with other Apps. Somehow I prefer the whole driver settings UI/UX in macOS vs Windows. But why do I always need to scroll thro...

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

Beta 7 Enterprise Dark Mode on Display not legible, contrast too low, too bright. If I switch too macOS bright mode, Enterprise Display does not switch back to bright mode by itself. I have to un- and re-plug USB cable. Unfortunately it does switch to non legible dark mode automatically again as soo...

Re: Spacemouse wireless

For me it is different.

I could easily work without 3DConnexion devices,
but I don't want to work with anything pre Big Sur again.

  • SketchUp and Cinema 4D are not working with the SpaceMouse.
Only Sketchup and C4D ?

I think for me any rotation with Space Navigator or Enterprise
does not work at all.
AFAIK I tried Modo, Vectorworks, Bricscad, ....
