Re: Cad Mouse

Is there were already Windows-only Firmware Updaters for Apple Big Sure users,
I am sure if you file a Support Request, Support will provide a proper Firmware
Updater for your Windows for you.

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

Yes same here. I think Apple brought an iOS-like "Shake to Undo" to Mouse since Catalina. (So for me since Big Sur after upgrade from Mojave) If you don't immediately release the Mouse after you clicked on sleep, the Mac will awake again. After 20 or 30 second period you can move your mouse again wi...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

We believe this something that only Apple can address, just as SpaceMouse devices moving the mouse pointer if our driver isn't running. I believe you were one of the customers affected by the driver bug (MAC-290) that interfered with modifier keys on the real keyboard. If so, could you please indic...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

I was also surprised bey the need of a reboot.
And my Enterprise still prevents from sleep, or better immediately
reawakens my M1 Mini.

Beside that the devices behave pretty smooth now.

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

On Mac, if you have an CAD or 3D App active and open 3D Con Driver Settings, either from Menu Button or by opening Apple Settings, it will automatically point the driver setup to that CAD or 3D App. (OK, 3DCon Driver may not know which 3D Con Device you want and you have to manually select that but ...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

For me, for now, it seems to work fine in Vectorworks. Yesterday I had Updates to VW 2021 SP3 and Big Sur 11.3 Public Beta4. (But my Enterprise still prevents Big Sur on M1 from sleep, and Beta4 may prevent from 3DCon Driver Settings being able to recognize the active App. It was always reliable, no...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

Yes, no problem.

I just thought it might help narrow it down.
But if it is already solved, also great.

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

Heard of SP3 some weeks ago. I think it is just for elected Beta users but may be released soon. For me View is also heavily jumping around in VW. I thought this had been better before, so maybe got worse with Big Sur 11.3 ? Also I think that after using VW, VW is causing CADMouse to loose Modifier ...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

I appreciate that there is a Beta driver for Big Sur, better than nothing. On the other hand, (OK no 3D Navigation inside) I saw my Wacom Cintiq 27", with Wacom Pen and Wacom Remote inputs, flawlessly running from first Big Sur Betas over Big Sur official, over M1 Mac Mini installation, flawlessly w...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

I have smart scroll enabled for Safari,
never have seen that behavior.
(M1 Mac Mini, Big Sur 11.3 PB)

Just the strangeness with CMD key usage ....

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

BTW, all my other Apps work basically great with 3DConnexion devices, (Beside from current OS and Driver isuues) Just C4D in general, and Bricscad in Mac Version(!), not offering "Lock Horizon" and having unfamiliar Trackball Rotation instead, is really annoying. VW starting with and 3DConnexion Ent...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

Old original USB Space Navigator works fine here for me with Big Sur on Apple Silicon M1 Mac Mini. All Axis available, even the most important : Lock Horizon works. Although there are issues as VW is not really able to calculate the the Rotation Center the same way as it works with CTRL+MMB Mouse "F...

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

Yes, it is all strange and my observations not very helpful. That Hub has a power supply with even a (unused) USB charging slot. And usually it runs only CADMouse, Apple USB keyboard and (3D Navigator) or Enterprise! in that case, fine. (with Enterprise plugged off, at that time too, as preventing f...

I tried 3DConn Pane.
It did not allow to edit my devices.

Will look at it again.

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

Another thing, when I plug in 2 external SSDs to a separate USB Hub on the second USB 3 slot of the Mini, CADMouse and Enterprise on Slot1 Hub will no more work. Even after unplugging SSDs, reconnecting CADMouse or Enterprise will no more work until the next Reboot. So for me it looks like the Drive...
