Re: Memory leak in SketchUp extension?

Sorry for the slow reply, I hadn't visited this forum for a while.

Yes. Multiple users on the SketchUp forum reported this issue and the SketchUp team are aware of it. Last I checked, they don't think it is their fault.

Memory leak in SketchUp extension?

It has been reported on the SketchUp public forum that Space Mouse users on Mac are seeing steady and unbounded growth of memory usage while using the Space Mouse to navigate a model. In some cases it has caused so much growth that the system has crashed! I have not had a crash (yet) but if I open a...

keyboard pro and numpad in Parallels

I have recently seen a claim that the keyboard pro and numpad will work with Windows running under Parallels on my Mac. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Re: MacOS 14.6.1

My USB wired space mouse is working under macOS 14.6.1 with one annoying issue: every time the Mac sleeps or I close SketchUp, it loses the connection to the space mouse. Recovery is to unplug space mouse and then plug it in again, at which point it behaves normally until the next time. The Driver i...

Interference from logitech options+ ?

At their urging, I recently updated from Logitech Options to Logi Options+. Since then, every time I close SketchUp or sleep my MacBook Pro, it loses connection with my wired space mouse. If I unplug the space mouse, replug it, and then wait a moment, normal function returns. So I have a workaround,...

Re: Trainer cut off on Mac M3 Max

This is not limited to M3, it also happens on my 2019 Intel MBP. I have reported it to the tech support team but so far as I can tell, nothing has changed since.

Re: UARPUpdaterServiceUSBPD memory leak?

I have since discovered that this issue appears to be governed by which USB-C port I use to connect the charger cable to my 2019 Intel Mac Book Pro. If I use the right rear port, the issue appears. If I use the right front port, it does not happen. As a result, I doubt that the Space Mouse driver is...

Re: UARPUpdaterServiceUSBPD memory leak?

Follow up: I contacted Apple support. They spent quite a bit of time with me, but in the end to no avail. The support reps had never even heard of thie UARPUpdaterServiceUSBPD daemon and had no clue what it does or how to diagnose the cause of the memory leak, even though it is an Apple facility tha...

UARPUpdaterServiceUSBPD memory leak?

Recently on my 2019 MBP running Sonoma 14.4.1 I notice that the UARPUpdaterServiceUSBPD daemon grows slowly but steadily, eventually taking up multiple GB of memory. I don't know how to determine whether this is due to 3Dconnexion driver 10.8.4 or from something else. I have a fairly old USB-connect...

Never mind! It turns out that one of the USB-C ports on my MacBook has gone flakey.

SpaceNavigator stopped working with MacOS 13.5

Today my Space Navigator ceased working completely. The 3DConnection Home -> Properties-> Tools page says "No Device Found". I tried reinstalling the 10.8.1 driver and cold restarted the Mac. I made sure it was given permission in System Settings -> Security and Privacy. I also tried unplu...

Re: 3D mouse not working in Sketchup 2023 with latest 10.8.0 update

Huh...I installed 10.8.0 and it works fine for me in SketchUp 2023.0.396. I have only a space navigator, not enterprise, but it would seem strange if that is the problem. I have a 2019 MBP 16" running Ventura 13.3.1

SketchUp 2023 support?

Any idea when the driver will be updated to support SketchUp 2023? It does not detect this version and so does not install. If one copies the files manually the SM works, si this is purely an installer shortcoming.

Mac support for Numpad Pro?

The new Numpad Pro looks like it could be a good fit to my needs, but the documentation says it is Windows only. Is that true? If so, is there a plan to add macOS support also, and when?
