Uta Just to make doubly sure, I uninstalled everything including the Sketchup plugin and started over. It all happened just as before except that I did not get the warning about the kernel file. Cuperman, I'm interested in your solution as it is the first time I have read that the firewall may be the problem. I turned mine off and re-installed the plugin. Is that what you meant in your post?
