Removing the mapping files solved the problem. The Space Pilot Pro functions now as it should.

Sometimes I've got the problem that not al direction function proper. When I push the knob to right/front the model does hardly move. I checked the settings in 3d ware and nothing is checked out. No movement is locked. I've installed version3.6.8. I noticed the same probs in for example google earth...

I'am happy that you could reproduce the case. This means that there is nothing wrong with my installation. (or we both do the same thing wrong). I will post my question at my reseller.
