I am able to navigate spaces by mapping a keystroke to my space mouse. But windows on secondary or sidecar displays don't respond. What's up with that?

Anyone else using the buttons of their wireless space mouse to control the Music app in Monterey? Maybe an edge case but I have this setup for all apps, so that in any app that doesn't have a specified function for these buttons tracks can be skipped back/fwd. Problem is it seems to skip two tracks ...
