My Spacemouse Wireless is shared between two PCs. One PC has the USB wire, for charging, and the mouse can be used wired on that PC if I plug it in. I recently started getting that warning when my PC starts up (with the Spacemouse Wireless plugged in). It's a few years old so I replaced the LiPo cell. The new cell is fine, it's being charged by the Spacemouse (I know because I went back inside and measured it) and everything should be good to go...
