Hi,
A while ago I suggested it would be nice to create a driver for Next Limit's Maxwell Render. I think 3DConnexion devices would really enhance the allready wonderfull Maxwell experience.
Is there any hope for a driver for this magnificent render program?

Yes, it works!
Thank you for the new driver! 3.0.8 really solves all problems with AutoCAD! Now the only thing lacking is a professional graphics card, so I can work in 3D Wireframe as fluently as in sketchup with the SpaceNavigator. But with this, you guys can't help me, unless you can get the driver to remain in...

Problem remains
Hi 3D Connexion, First of all thank you for the new driver, it really solves the problem with Google Earth I had with previous drivers. HOWEVER: The problem with AutoCAD fully remains. There is still no posibility to reverse the axis other then the red ones. The checkboxes behind the axis are still ...

I must say I'm also a little disappointed by the quallity of the driver as it is now, but at the same time, I'm not aware of any company that is so responsive to questions and immediatly tries to incorporate them in the next release. I'm really looking forward to this 3.13 release, but please take t...

Also I'd like to confirm that the problem with Google Earth is still present here. It is not possible to sellect both pan, zoom and spin axis and not the tilt and roll axis. This has nothing to do with reversing the axis, as they are already correct in google Earth. (in my opinion, just like I want ...

Back on the Problem
I've been away for a while, but I'm glad to see others have the same problem also. Reversing Axis in AutoCAD is simply only working for the 'red' two axis (as in red in the images in the driver) All the others just don't react to the reversed commands in the driver. Sometimes the checkboxes remain c...

Sketchup 6!!!!
Hi Everyone,
Sketchup 6 is out! Check www.sketchup.com
Only one thing, the 3DConnexion devices don't work anymore. Maybe you'll need to reinstall the driver. One guy said somthing about copying the plugin folder from Sketchup 5 to Sketchup 6 and then it works. Have not tried this yet.

The problem is caused by AutoCAD switching from 2D -> 3D -> 2D Wireframe every time you navigate. In the 2007 version the default background collor for 3D Wireframe is grey, so thats why you see the flickering. A sollution is to change the background collor to black foor 3D views. You can do this in...

I'm also very interested in Beta testing for Vista X86. I use my SpaceNavigator in the following programs (now only on my XP SP2 machine): - AutoCAD 2007 - 3Ds Max 9 (as soon as it works on Vista, :( ) - Maya 8 - Sketchup 5 (can’t wait for 6 to arrive) - Google Earth - Photoshop CS2 - Photoshop CS3 ...

AutoCAD, Google Earth and Sketchup problems (5 of them)
Hello, Next to the problems - describe in other topics - with regenerating drawings in AutoCAD / Switching between 2D -> 3D -> 2D with every motion - which should be constantly in 2D if so desired and possible Driver-wise - I also found some other problems while using this otherwise excellent produc...

Hello, I can completely confirm the problem as described by Chrisman. AutoCAD 2007 seems to be unable to work with reversed axis. There is no change noticeable when you change any setting but the left / right direction. All others will remain un-reversed. This problem is related to the driver I thin...
