Could you provide a somewhat more verbose set of instructions on how to install this on, say, Linux mint. I can't make sense of the instructions on the git page.

Is there a way to get the Cadmouse Compact Wireless working well in Linux Mint 22?
The problem I have is that the pointer sort of jumps around and stalls, and I wonder if there is a way to get more reliable performance out of the wireless donngle? it seems to work fine in Windows 10, and even works pretty well in Bluetooth mode on a Raspberry Pi 5, so it's frustrating that it's so...
