I was able to overcome this issue though I am not exactly clear what occurs: On the left side of the screen I have the tool palettes docked and always open, on the right side I have the property palette docked and always open. When I widened either one of these palettes by just a little the Spacebal...

ACAd 2008 - zooming out, zooming out, zooming out......

The past two drivers (3.7.12,3.7.16) do something odd that the previous one I used (3.6.10) didn't do: I have several paperspace layouts set up so they match the screen and then zoom in a little further, so that the actual paperspace boundary is not visible anymore. I then switch to model space and ...

I wished I could provide a reproducible scenario of the ACAD crashes. With as many as I had I certainly would be able to describe a pattern if there was one. I experienced the same problems on my office machine and my laptop even though the hardware and driver configuration is completely different. ...

Any predictions on ACAD 2007/2008 fixes for your driver? I am getting so sick and tired of the 'bling' sound, and AutoCad crashing again. There is no pattern, it can happen right after opening a drawing and touching the Spaceball to zoom in, but the next time around it will be fine for a day or two ...

New driver, same old story

Well, it was a short-lived hope that the 3.5.5 driver would remedy all ills in AutoCad Architecture 2008. I used it for a couple of hours, had (4) Fatal exceptions by now, that's enough for me, back to 3.3.6 .....

Tdarcy, I have experienced the same frequent crashes in ADT 2007 and Architectur 2008 with the 3.4.2 driver. You may want to try the older 3.3.6 driver until a fix has been found. While the 3.3.6 driver has its own quirks, they are rather minor by comparison, at least I found it to be reasonably sta...

Frequent Autocad Architecture 2008 crashes with 3.4.2

This morning I experienced about half a dozen "Fatal error" crashes with the latest 3.4.2 driver in Autocad Architecture 2008 that I had just installed. Tech support had no explanation, temporarily disabling other pieces of hardware (Calcomp DBIII, wireless mouse) didn't help, only reverti...
