The driver update does it... I had assumed the update tool was working, but apparently not.

The new install worked like a charm, no manual install required.

Hi, I did a manual install, and yes the driver was present and running... I have the config tools & buttons inside the Maya shelf... it's not that it isn't seeing that the device is there, it's just not syncing with the nav controls. I've tried using the update tool in the driver, but no luck......

Hi Fred, I followed your suggestions verbatim, and no luck. I get the panel inside of Maya, and can make changes, but no luck getting either the scene or the camera moving. Any suggestions? release 3.5.6 driver ver 6.5.5 firmware 3.18 SpaceNavigator Running Maya 2008 on Vista x64 Not locking Maya up...
