Re: 3ds mac 2022 support - When?

And nothing in the Release notes (PDF) text that says it will support 2022 and when I try to install it, it still say up to 2021 so where can I find this pre-release builds? The "pre-release" builds mentioned above were of 3ds Max version 2022, not our drivers. We have had an add-in for 2022 since ...

3ds max 2022 has been out a long time now, and still no support for it in the drivers?
When can I expect a new version that supports Autodesk 3ds max 2022 for my SpaceMouse Pro?
We have been shipping an add-in for pre-release builds of 3ds Max v. 2022 since December.

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

Here is the list of supported devices for 1.11: You're mixing up the latest firmware version (1.11) for the CadMouse Wireless type with the driver version (10.7.0). Version 10.7.0 of 3DxWare 10 for macOS has support for all CadMouse types but the original CadMouse (a wired device) requires firmware...

I just downloaded Maya 2022 and can't seem to get my SpaceMouse Compact to work with it.
Please refer to my note three posts above.

We're working on a "beta driver" update with a plug-in for Maya version 2022.

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

I have the CadMouse Compact Wireless. I have tried running the firmware update to 1.11 however tdxflash reports "No supported devices found." Mouse is connected via USB cable (USB to USB-C adapter in the middle). Mouse works, so it seems connected. Not sure what to do now. The firmware update is on...

Re: Unreal Engine Support

are those ignored There are not ignored but "camera mode" with all axes inverted is not the same as "object mode". The difference is where the centre-of-rotation (CoR) is positioned: in "camera mode", the CoR is placed on the camera "eye" position; in "object mode", there's a heuristic process to d...

Re: Unreal Engine Support

How do we invert the axis behaviors? Bring the Unreal Editor to the foreground, then open the "3Dconnexion Properties" panel. Go to the "Advanced Settings" panel for your SpaceMouse and switch the "navigation mode" to "object". You may want to play a bit with the different navigation modes and othe...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

I was able to upgrade the firmware on both devices to 1.6 (?) on my Windows 10 Workstation. As of writing this, the most recent firmware version for the original CadMouse device is version "1.06" and v. "1.11" for the CadMouse Wireless. We also have a native firmware update tool for macOS 10.15 and...

The next driver update will include a plug-in for Maya version 2022. In the meantime, you can contact our Technical Support (details here) and they should be able to find a pre-release for you to use.

Re: Does the Prefs Pane scaling require using the SDK?

Hi JetForMe, Am I correct to assume that requires using the SDK? I believe so. Are you targeting macOS 11? Kernel extensions have been deprecated in 10.15 and are no longer available in the newer version of the operating system. This means we can't mangle the data before it bubbles up to application...

I see. Thank you for giving us the context of why you needed to run the application as administrator (setting system-wide preferences).

Re: SpaceNavigator/Big Sur/Google Earth not working

As posted here last week. 3Dconnexion had early access to a pre-release of the next version of Google Earth Pro for macOS and we can confirm the issue has been addressed. Customers can expect the next version of Google Earth Pro to include the modification to restore 3D mouse support. The change can...

Do you know if this is going to be a M1 native code release?
We don't have that information. What we tested was an Intel build.
