Re: Get the current driver version, programmatically

Although not documented, on Windows our software will save the version on the Registry. Specifically, the driver (3DxWinCore) version is saved under HKLM\SOFTWARE\3Dconnexion\3DxWare ("Version" value, a REG_SZ string) and the 3DxWare 10 version is in HKLM\SOFTWARE\3Dconnexion\3DxSoftware, ...

Re: Position sensor data.

Are you referring perhaps to Microsoft's Raw Input API? I do not recall if we have a C# demo program but we may still have some C++ code that shows how to use the Raw Input API to decode the SpaceMouse data. You will want to reach out to the API Support team (contact details here , registration is n...

Thanks for sharing this information. I believe we no longer test SketchUp version 2017 and it is interesting to see such a old application version still operational on a recent OS.

pelle wrote: Tue Apr 22, 2025 3:28 am Could it be bundled with the SDK, or is it secret?
Alas, no. 3Dconnexion does not include pdb files in SDK packages.

Re: Driver updating on it's own.

PROBLEM IS - every time i restart machine for end of day work, and come and login next day - driver is updated on it's own to 10.9.3 - all the options for check updates etc are unticked - and even selected not to install. 3Dconnexion here. Our drivers do not automatically update. The driver has a f...

Re: Windows 11 ARM driver

Can't this just be an HID object that applications deal with themselves for basic functionality? It can. Some applications do so but have to implement all the navigation modes and other features users have come to expect. For example, 3Dconnexion maintains a kernel driver (3dxhid.sys) that among ot...

Re: Windows 11 ARM driver

There was a recent change to the installer check that may have addressed that specific issue. The change will be included in the driver of v. 10.9.4 of 3DxWare 10 currently under test. Please note the " may have " caveat in the previous paragraph. Windows on Arm is not a supported platform...

No, it did not. Version 10.8.7 is still under test and, obviously enough, now delayed.
