Re: Big Sur beta installer security concern

While installing the Big Sur beta drivers I was prompted to change my System Certificate trust settings. After the install, I investigated my keychain and discovered that the installer had inserted a new trusted CA cert. This is big security no-no as it breaks the chain of trust in the certificate ...

Re: CadMouse Pro Wireless - "jumpy" cursor

Yes, scrolling is enabled and works as it should with my Apple mouse connected. Doesn't work with the CMPW with a wired, BT or wireless connection (and Apple mouse disabled to avoid possible interference). And we have ruled out an hardware issue with the CMPW. Looks like you're looking at an isolat...

Re: Windows mouse speed settings error

Hi Mike, There is an option to "Fix it" but when I click on that option the "Enable Acceleration" check mark goes away and nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? That's the expected behaviour: the warning is just there to highlight that a setting has been changed and is considered ...

Re: Problem with driver NET Framework

could it be a problem due to the fact that the latest windows updates are from June (therefore net framework 5.0 .___) and not being able to communicate with 3dxware? Probably not since .NET 5.0 and NET Framework 4.7.2 can be installed side-by-side. Again, all versions of Windows 10 from the last c...

Re: MacOS 11.00 (Big Sur)

This issue is still bothering me. I think the issue you referring to is this: The mouse wheel button doesn't do anything when the Cadmouse is connected via Bluetooth. Perhaps the wheel button is disabled in the relevant driver configuration? Go to the 3Dconnexion pane in System Preferences and chec...

Re: Problem with driver NET Framework

I just bought a workstation and installed Windows 10 updates. While I install 3dxware it installs net framework 4.7.2 but it doesn't work. The 3DxWare installer does not normally need to install the .NET Framework on Windows 10 since the required framework version (4.7.2 or newer) is included in th...

Yes, movement while saving is definitely where the issue is. You can reproduce it by jiggling the knob and pressing CMD+S.
That's interesting. Thank you for sharing this information. We'll look into it.

Re: Issue with 3DConnexion extension

Our software for macOS 10.15 (requires a kernel extension) no longer installs on macOS 11 and newer. There's a long-standing issue with the original CadMouse (a wired device) and the CadMouse Wireless where the buttons stopped working since OS X 10.10 (the devices work fine in OS X 10.9 and older). ...

Is this a driver issue?
Unlikely.

Try using a different surface. For example, try a blank piece of paper or another surface to move your mouse on and see if the issue is still apparent.

Re: CadMouse Pro Wireless - "jumpy" cursor

I've just now plugged the CMPW into a Mac running Mojave, using the USB cable without installing any special drivers - the system simply sees it as a generic mouse. Scrolling works normally. This suggest all is well with the hardware. On Big Sur, no scrolling however it's connected, using the lates...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

Any idea of when we might see a product version of the driver for MacOS Big Sur? Driver version 10.7.0 (currently in "beta") has support for macOS 11 (Big Sur). My Space Mouse Enterprise still randomly quits working for Maya (2020.4 and 2022) requiring me to restart Maya. Can you elaborate what you...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

Ah, I have a CadMouse Pro WIreless. The firmware version is 1.10 (which is why I thought it should be at 1.11). [...] I guess nothing more needs to be done as long as the 1.10 firmware is correct. Firmware v. 1.10 for the CadMouse Pro Wireless (CMPW) is fine. Actually, any version of the CMPW firmw...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available

I followed the procedure exactly but tdxflash cannot find any device to update. Perhaps you have a wireless CadMouse model that requires no firmware update (and is not supported by the firmware update tool). The tool currently supports the original CadMouse (a wired device) and the "CadMouse Wirele...

Re: CadMouse Pro Wireless - "jumpy" cursor

since updating to Big Sur 11.4: [...] - scrolling (of any kind, "smart" or otherwise) no longer works; This is whether the mouse is attached via the USB cable, wireless dongle, or Bluetooth. And after multiple reboots. We cannot confirm this. We tested the CadMouse Pro Wireless (CMPW) on a macOS 11...

Re: CMS Intellicad 10 support

Spacemouse wireless only can zoom in and out. How to make the orbit command work? According to the press release , you will need to ensure you are using an application based on IntelliCAD v. 10.1. Excerpt from the press release linked above: IntelliCAD will offer the integration as part of their st...
