For those using CCRUDE's awesome remapper and experiencing lag or slowness: there are 2 things you need to do to ensure smooth operation. 1. set the multiplier in the UI! It's the last column. I have to set mouse scrolling to 120. 2. raise the priority of his process to 'abovenormal' to do that: ctr...

Re: SpaceNavigator 3D mouse & XP Games

Sadly relies on RBC9's driver, so no love for 64 bitters. I'll see what I can do to write something generic based on the code samples. Once I get those working you can send me a thank you gift : D

autohotkey WADS scripts for WoW - or any FPS, for SN
AutoHotKey can remap any input to any other input, with complex scripting. I use it to remap joysticks to cut/copy/paste/save , scrolling, even build commands in my dev environment. The SpaceNavigator has _tremendous_ potential as an ergonomics device. Here is a terribly simple WADS/QE script for wo...

a useful utility which will make everyone happy
AutoHotKey! I managed to get RBC's thing running on vista... The UI is still mostly blank, so I can't make new layouts... but it DOES show up as a joystick, and with AutoHotKey remappings, I can do like I did with my logitech gamepad and map this thing's movements to wads or arrows or whatever. This...

BSOD on XP and Vista
just got my SN today, installed latest driver and then tried RBC9's driver and app. I got a BSOD immediately on XP, and after reboot in Vista :( I also got the same problems that plug_it_in had... the layout editing UI was missing most of it's functionality. Has anyone else found a way to workaround...
