OK, that didn't take long. It seems to always find a way to revert back to the default values. So where can I go from here. Is it a Gibbs problem or a 3DCONNEXION problem?

Well, turning off the auto save seems to work the best. The save dialog does not pop up every time I switch so that's good. I only briefly checked this solution so I'll get back and reply again in a few days to give an update.

Hi Barbara, thanks for the reply. I am currently on GibbsCAM 2010 v9.5.19 64bit. I did a clean install and it seemed to work. I saved my custom button assignment as GibbsCustom1 and had no problems until I opened a second instance of Gibbs and then all the buttons reverted back to the default again....

I've just upgraded? to the new SPP. I'm using GibbsCAM and I mapped all my buttons. Everything seemed fine as I worked with the new button settings for about 15min. I got up and walked away for a couple minutes and boom! the settings were all back to the defaults. I thought I was crazy so I set them...

Does anyone know if there is any way to remap the center "3D Lock" button on the spacepilot? I have GibbsCAM and the 3D lock button does not work for that app. I have mapped button 6 as the rotation toggle but would like to have the 3D lock button be the rotation toggle as it is in SolidWo...
