Was anyone able to use it in 2d panels by turning off the 3d view lock feature or do you still have rotation etc in 3d view even when 2d panel (uv editor) is active? If so what version maya and driver are you using?

I appreciate the bump, it would be very useful and a hand saving feature to be able to turn this function on in the control panel.
