The software we used is superscape 3D Webmaster which support driver for magellan space mouse. So we don't have to install driver for Logitech magellan space mouse driver but just connect the spacemouse to serial port. Can we just do the same way for SpaceExplorer serial ? Does "3Dconnexion SpaceExplorer Serial 3D Mouse" have the same protocal like "Logitech Magellan 3D Space Mouse" ?

We use superscape's webmaster and vrt as our vr tools which only support serial comm. port driver to connect to logictech space mouse. Now we would like to use SpaceNavigator as our 3d input, so we hope SpaceNavigator can support virtual comm. port as comm1 ~ comm4.
