One of them is packaging model number, the other is device model number. It doesn't matter as long as you can use the device.

This is actually not true. The packaging numbers start with 7 (3DX-700 ...).

I assume you have one of our CadMouse devices? The right button of the CadMouse devices cannot be changed. This is a system default and is not available for programming by design.

The settings for your device are saved in your %APPDATA% folder. (C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\3Dconnexion\). Are there any restrictions made by a company default e.g.?

this is not a common issue with Fusion as far as I know. Is the speed with one of our demos ok for you? You can open the 3Dconnexion Viewer from 3Dconnexion Home for example.
