Have you tried switching your zoom settings under the 'Device' Tab in the 3Dconnexion Control Panel?

No effect on behavior in Poser 7 or 8.

Exactly what you would expect to see - no swapped Z and Y axes.

I have discovered that my Z and y axes have become swapped when using the Space Navigator (v 1.5.8) in Poser 7 and 8. Spin is now roll, and roll is now spin.
