Yes , there may be only one application installed as administrator and other applications installed from a user profile - the 3Dconnexion software installed with elevated privileges will work with both.

Hello Gavin -

Have you tried the step mentioned above - intentionally move the cap away from center, calibrate , allow the cap to return to center then calibrate again ?

This can sometimes correct a calibration issue that an initial calibration misses.

Clean Install steps can remove all of the 3Dconnexion software , registry entries and profiles to restore your SpaceExplorer to correct operation.
