Barbara, Everytime I open the properties window the profile is set to Windows Explorer. I can change it manually, but it always reverts back to Explorer. Also, I don't find a properties window exactly like you describe. All I can find is Restore Page Defaults at the bottom of the 3DC Properties wind...

I had lost zoom & both pans yesterday, but found
the L/R, U/D & Zoom unchecked in properties.
I have corrected all of those, but I cannot
restart L/R pan.
I have rebooted several times.

Windows 7, 64 bit, Inventor 2010, Space Explorer, Firmware 4.14, Versions 10.0.15 & 17.0.25. Pan is always slow, even with it's slider maxed out, and all other sliders turned down. I just did the recal on the Tools tab. It's one of the really irritating little things that most people don't care ...

I have solved my issue.

The sliders for the 6 axes are not proportional.
I had to move the left & right pan slider almost
full right.

All is well here again.

We finally were able to upgrade to Windows 7 &
Inventor 2010. In setting up my Explorer for my
new PC, I have lost my pan capability. I have
calibrated, tweaked the settings in the 3DC
window & rebooted several several times,
but still nothing.

I need some input, please.

I was still having problems with my profiles switching back & forth &
still wanted to customize my zoom & pan axes so with jwick's advice &
Fred's help I installed the Beta & it is sweet! I like the interface so much better!

Barbara, I have tried every combination of updating the axis values, stopping the app, running the app, closing Inventor & rebooting, multiple times this am, but I still don't have it workiing. What am I missing? I also have multiple user combo's listed in the apps pull down. See attached. John[...

I found the user files again, and
I have edited them as before, but I
can't get them recognized by Inventor
yet. I know I had trouble with that
before, but I have to leave for the
day, so I will check back in on
Monday.
