I have the same problem with Acrobat X Pro on my mac. I can rotate/pan but no zoom on a 3D PDF file.

I have recently bought a SpaceNavigator but they will not work on Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.0.0 and the older 9.0 with a 3D pdf-file. I can only control the 3D file with the normal mouse.
