This improves the redraw slightly, in that you don't have a lagging wireframe version of the model trying to catch up with the shaded version. I have this problem using Max2017, and if my memory is correct this isn't a new problem. Space Nav 10.7.2.3314 There is a serious lag of the wireframe rendering (Edged Faces) when moving the with the SpaceNav.
