Re: Photoshop CS6 Rotate View Tool?

Ok you'll be happy to know I got rotation operational and it works fine with pan and zoom. This is soooo much better than the non-beta drivers! Only took me two years to finally get to use them lol. Now to play with ZBrush and see how well the experimental support works. :)

Re: Photoshop CS6 Rotate View Tool?

The beta was out way back in 2011 when I purchased my SpaceMouse Pro, but wasn't supported at all (quick edit: never used it before so don't know how it looks). Has anything changed in the 2+ years that have passed? The latest version listed on the download page was Beta 16 which I test installed on...

Re: Photoshop CS6 Rotate View Tool?

Is it possible to trick my SpaceMouse Pro into doing what I want by editing any of it's configuration files? If so, can you please give me detailed step by step instructions of how to do so? I found this thread today: http://www.3dconnexion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4196 I've spent the past few hour...

Photoshop CS6 Rotate View Tool?

My SpaceMouse Pro, which I purchased in 2011, pans and zooms perfectly fine in Photoshop CS6 x64 using the 3.16.1 drivers. The ability to rotate the canvas still doesn't work after all this time however. Is this function ever going to be supported? If the answer is yes, what is the ETA? As nice as p...

Sounds like your rotating around one particular axis and wish to instead rotate based on screen space. For 3ds Max (and hopefully other apps that use a 3dx plugin) it should just be a matter of pressing the menu button on your 3dx device (if you have one) and then turning off the "Lock Horizon&...

Over the last several months, I have been gathering historical information on every make and model of 3D Mouse that I could find. Then finding a way to present that information in one location. http://spacemice.wikidot.com/ I just wanted to say great job on the site. It's good to have something to ...

That makes sense. If an application doesn't use plugins, creating one would be pointless obviously. I feel the responsibility falls on both 3dConnexion and the software developers equally, not one or the other. If a number of customers have purchased an application and found it doesn't suppor...

3dConnexion is obviously up to the challenge and trying, but it also requires Pixologic to be on board. Like all navigation related requests (over a decade of them now), they simply fail to see the point. What's obvious to everyone else isn't obvious to them at all for some reason. Since we'll never...

The hardware stores sell ( Plasti Dip synthetic rubber ) This is used to coat screwdriver handles in a rubber base to make it easier to grip. After it dries you'll have a red, or orange cap instead of Black not sure if it comes in different color choices. Now that is a great idea and I'm jealous I ...

One more thing regarding Photoshop; the Wacom Intuos4 is able to rotate the canvas using the touch wheel, so it should be possible to do so with a 3dx mouse. I can't use the beta drivers yet (no support), but for now I can pan and zoom. Paired with those, rotating the canvas just seems like a no bra...

What kind of environment do you live in? Warm, cold, dry, wet, etc. If it's warm and humid in your home, that can definitely wreak havoc with certain types of synthetics and glues. The oily residue from your hand can be pretty acidic too, especially when it builds up over time on the device your usi...

Re: Autosave profiles isn't the problem.

If you don't want to your configurations resetting to default settings, you would want to have 'Automatically Save Configurations' checked on under the 'Options' Menu in the 3Dconnexion Control Panel (3Dconnexion Properties Display Panel). If you have this turned off, you will be asked if you want ...

SpaceMouse won't remember keys!

So I've had my SpaceMouse Pro for several days now. I was loving it, but now I'm getting very frustrated with the drivers. For a hardware device that's so expensive, you'd think support would be better. The program I'm trying to customize for is 3D Coat. Here are my key assignments: Menu: S (Symmetr...

the most cool think I say that is the rotation of the image (when you draw it your temporary rotating to have it in good position) , something that I do not see it even in Photoshop. Adobe Photoshop 12.1 does have the ability to temporarily rotate the view of the canvas (not the actual image itself...

I continued thinking about this after I posted and realized that instead of wood, get someone to machine lathe an aluminum knob, or brass if you want to give it more weight. It should be easier to clean because you won't need foam, plus it would probably look pretty good if polished or anodized. I h...
