Re: ZBrush 2021.5 and 3Dconnexion SpacePilot 01

If you run ZBrush with a driver (< 10.7.1) and save any user settings, you will need to delete your user file (probably %appdata%/3dconnexion/3dxware/cfg/ZBrush.xml) after installing 10.7.1.

Your saved settings will prevent the default ZBrush cfg from being used.

Re: HID button count and values for event = 3, 28 & 29

I understand. Then let's use HID. It works for the driver, it can work for you. There is no problem using HID, but you might have to do a little bit of work as new devices appear. We try to limit the differences. It makes our life easier too. All what follows is limited to Windows. 99% of everything...

Re: Unity Build with Space Navigator Driver

You are using one of the Unity store solutions?
I think they only work in the editor.

Re: ZBrush 2021.5 and 3Dconnexion SpacePilot 01

The ZBrush solution requires a relatively recent driver.
Only the 10.7.1 driver package (released shortly) has the correct ZBrush cfg file. We highly recommend that you use that.
The SpaceNavigator (SpaceMouse Compact) is supported in that release.

Re: HID button count and values for event = 3, 28 & 29

Typo on your page: Logitech VID = 0x042d (legacy 3Dconnexion). (0x046d) I still don't understand the scope of your project. If you are working exclusively with the Windows driver, you can do much more configuration using the capabilities of the driver and the API. With a proper cfg, you have a lot o...

Re: Space Navigator Driver with Unity dropdown

I see you are using TDxInput code. If you are starting with one of the projects from the Unity store, some have default joystick actions defined that always map some axes to actions that cause constant motion. I forget the details of it. It is a project setting that you need to remove.

Re: Remote Desktop use of local Space Navigator

It's not obvious how to do this. And w/o a GUI, you don't have much of a chance. Clean the slate. Uninstall everything. Delete any changes left over in Program Files/.../3DxWinCore. Save your user files somewhere else and delete them from %appdata%/3dconnexion/3dxware. Then reinstall a fresh install...

Re: SpaceMouse Pro Wireless - Buttons not working when wireless

This shows the driver doesn't recognize the app as a 3D mouse-supported app. Probably rolling the cap (like a motorcycle throttle) sends MouseWheel events to the app. This will do whatever a 2D mouse mousewheel does. Try contacting Sectra tech support to ask them what API they use to support the 3D ...

Enjoy it. They are a great combination.
Please give us lots of feedback to make it better (Pixologic and 3Dconnexion).

If you save changes now to your 3D mouse ZBrush settings, you may have to redo those when we release the official cfg file.

Re: SpaceMouse Pro Wireless - Buttons not working when wireless

If the application "works" without our software running, it must not be using our API. There are several others available from Microsoft. Finding out which it is using would allow us to give you a cfg file that would eliminate the double actions you are seeing. Either way, it sounds like they may no...

Blank you say. You might need to add definitions for those in Base.xml. <ButtonActions> ... <ButtonAction Type="Driver"> <ID>Driver_KB_Shift</ID> <Name>RDP Shift</Name> <Image> <Source>[driver_images:Keyboard.png]</Source> </Image> </ButtonAction> <ButtonAction Type="Driver"> <ID>Driver_KB_Ctrl</ID>...

Re: Remote Desktop use of local Space Navigator

If you have assigned the device's Esc/Shift/Ctrl/etc keys to something else (presumably using our GUI), those assignments will override anything you do in Base.xml. You will have to put your preferred assignments (Driver_*) into your user files in %appdata%/3dconnexion/3dxware/cfg. Or remove them an...

Good to hear.
I'll ask about the customer support case (not my dept).
