Re: Virtual NumPad in SolidWorks 2020 deletes values

Hi sdesaulles, I have sent 3dx both a log file they requested and an MP4 screen capture that I just tried to load here but I think the format is not permitted. Have you tried replicating the issue using the system "On-Screen Keyboard" (OSK.exe) tool? You will notice the problem is in SOLIDWORKS, not...

Re: Virtual NumPad in SolidWorks 2020 deletes values

I seem to recall there's something up with the application. Try using the system own "On-Screen Keyboard" (OSK): Start menu > type "OSK" and press enter. Then attempt to reproduce the issue using the panel.

Re: Using space mouse in Rhino 5 Plugin

Doesn't Rhino already have support for 3D mice? If so, there may be a conflict if you add a plug-in connecting to the same driver.

Re: Driver installation error 1327 Invalid Drive

My solution was to wait for the error message to appear during installation. Then I started windows task manager and used it to end the setup. This closed the setup window immediately, so the installation would not be undone. In all likelihood, there is a missing file software in the installation o...

Re: Silent Installs

Hi cranston, The newer (about 10.6.7+) installer is supposed to work similarly but it doesn't seem to be able to record anything using the switch SaveSettings=”c:\temp\3DxWareSettings.xml". I get an error at the end of the install telling me it could not write the XML file. It does install fine thou...

Re: COM interface documentation and sample

H antonin.misek, I can't find documentation of COM interface which we use long time. Can you please provide me the documentation and some sample code how to use it? Are you referring perhaps to "3DxInput". This is a long-time deprecated interface. Have a word with the API Support team (sign in here ...

Some option during the driver installation, perhaps?
Uninstall 3DxWare 10 (the settings will be preserved) and re-run the installer: expand the "Advanced Settings" section and clear (untick) the option "Automatically check for updates".

Re: Question about support cycle for SpaceMouse Wireless

Hi DoubleE, Several of us that browse this Forum are engineers and we cannot be on the record concerning issues that affect company policy. Having said that, you can look at the page you linked to above and draw your own conclusions. I think you will find that 3Dconnexion products benefit from the l...

Re: back and forward mouse button emulation

I have a Space Pilot Using the 3dConnexion properties tool I've tried setting a custom mapping of the SP buttons to the emulation of the back / forward buttons on a normal mouse. Got it. There is indeed a limitation: the "Forward Mouse Button" and "Backward Mouse Button" actions do not work on 3D m...

I've tried these mappings in Explorer and Chrome and they don't do anything. I'd expet them to navigate backwards and forwards like the equivalent buttons on the mouse.
Not sure what you mean exactly. Are you using a CadMouse or a SpaceMouse? What button are you pressing?

Re: ? How to assign a Catia vb routine in SpaceMouse Enterprise

Try assigning a keyboard shortcut to the catvbs script or module in CATIA. Then assign the same shortcut to the device button using the "3Dconnexion Properties". It is not as easy as a direct mapping (picking a command from a list) but it ought to work well for you, once configured.

Yes we are using Trend Micro ;) Thx for advice.
If you ever come across with the cause of this issue (Trend Micro blocking a driver component), we would very much appreciate if you could share the information.

We don't know why Trend Micro is blocking the driver. It makes no sense.

Re: 3DCONNEXION SpacePilot PRO - Crash in SolidEdge 2020

Hi fkempf, If we open a File with a lot ofLines, and use the 3DCONNEXION SpacePilot PRO, often the Program SolidEdge 2020 crashs without further information. This appears to be a resource exhaustion issue (lack of memory, perhaps). We attempted to reproduce the issue using SE 2020 v. 220.0.0.104 x64...
