Re: Unreal Engine 4
Adding 3D device support to an application is determined by the application developer rather than by 3Dconnexion. We have an SDK [Development Kit] which any software developer can download at no cost and which allows the integration of 3D device support in proprietary software. http://www.3dconnexio...

Re: Latest drivers not recognizing 3ds Max
You have the files in the correct path. On a 64-bit PC: Copy the "3dxstd.dlu" file from C:-->Program Files-->3Dconnexion-->3Dconnexion 3DxSoftware-->3DxStudio64-->x64 -->3DsMax2015 to the "stdplugs" sub-directory of 3Ds Max. Copy "3DxStudio.ms" from C:-->Program Files--...

Re: Latest drivers not recognizing 3ds Max
The 3DxWare 10.0.22 driver includes the add-ins for 3DsMax2015 beta, Maya 2015 beta and Softimage 2015 beta. 3DxWare 10 was released first for the SpaceMouse Wireless and Space Navigator but will recognize any of the current 3Dconnexion devices. Choose SpaceMouse Wireless or Space Navigator on the d...

Re: Spacemouse Pro causes error in NX 8.5
Please check if you are using the default ugii_env.dat file (usually located in the folder 'UGII' of your installation folder of NX). If you have your own file you have to add this line:
UGII_3DCONNEXION_LIBRARY=${UGII_BASE_DIR}\ugalliance\vendor\startup\3dxnx.dll
to the file.
UGII_3DCONNEXION_LIBRARY=${UGII_BASE_DIR}\ugalliance\vendor\startup\3dxnx.dll
to the file.

Re: Space Pilot PRO custom button settings donot work
It tells me you don't have the Inventor add-in loaded. Perform a clean install of or driver. This is different than uninstalling/reinstalling the 3dconnexion software, since the 3Dconnexion registry keys and profiles are not removed in a standard re-install. The 'clean install' steps below remove al...

Re: Space Pilot PRO custom button settings donot work
Make sure your using the correct driver version for the SpacePilot PRO It should be 3.17.8 not 3.16.4 that is an outdated driver and it does not contain up to date addins for newer released versions of Inventor While inventor is open. Go to start all programs, 3Dconnexion, 3dConnexion control panel ...

Re: Inventor 2012 spacemouse hangs clicking constraint
We have reproduced the Issue with Inventor in our Lab. The bug number for this issue is 6633. There are two ways to work around this issue. One is, to click again in the graphical window - this will re-enable the navigation. The other is to switch to 3DxSoftware driver 3.17.8 . I believe it will be ...

CATIA Navigation When a 3Dconnexion device works outside of Catia - such as in the 3Dconnexion Jet demo - but not inside Catia the most likely cause is firewall software preventing Catia from seeing the device .[Start, All Programs, 3Dconnexion, Demo- Jet Demo] Catia recognizes a USB device as a net...

Re: Unable to uninstall and/or upgrade
3ds Max Autodesk, Inc. 9 - 2014 is the currently supported applications the programmers have not released an add-in that supports 2015.
Isn't 2015 a Beta if so we usually do not support Beta software.

The first step to take when troubleshooting code 10 errors is to uninstall the present driver.
after uninstalling. go to
http://www.3dconnexion.com/faq/1100
remove previous saved button configurations.
Next install the driver.

Spaceball 5000 driver is still listed under Old products. 3.7.22
I believe this driver still had the 3dxmax 8 add-in.
Check the box "show archive" on the driver download page.
If you need a driver earlier you can choose the Spaceball 5000 serial driver December 2006
