Win7/64 & NX7.5 Assign F8 function key to SpaceNavigator
In the NX button mapping editor, I was able to drag and drop 'Function 8' to a button and pressing the button caused my model to re-orient to the nearest Orthogonal View.

Re-Calibrate
Dear rcmaples,
You're device may need it's coordinates reset, re-zeroed. You can perform this re-calibration simply by clicking on the Calibrate Button in the 3Dconnexion Control Panel.
(Start, All Programs, 3Dconnexion, 3Dconnexion Control Panel, Calibrate)
