Re: Map Volume Up/Down to rotation axis Zs?
There are many ways of doing this. It would be very annoying to have to add these assignments to every cfg. There are BankOperations where you can use a device button to change CurrentAxisBank. You can do this temporarily, like a shift key. You would hold down (or toggle) a SpaceMouse key, then your...

Re: Map Volume Up/Down to rotation axis Zs?
We've seen some conflicts with multi-key keyboard macros with PowerToys. IIRC, it can cause rearrangement of the keys.

Re: Map Volume Up/Down to rotation axis Zs?
When I cut&paste that <Device> into my %appdata%/Global.xml, it outputs 1111111... into notepad. I assume it will work everywhere.
What happens on your machine?
The %localappdata%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxService.log file will tell you what it is doing.

Re: Map Volume Up/Down to rotation axis Zs?
Those functions can only be assigned to buttons.
I like the idea though.
If you can assign them to keyboard keys, you could create an AxisAction to activate them.

Re: Drawboard
The SpaceNavigator being "discontinued" is more of a warning that we don't test it any longer. It is still currently recognized and works.
Drawboard does not seem to be a 3D application. What do you want the SpaceNavigator to do in it?

Re: Run Diagnostics
Those messages should be more clear. The Enable Logging Button does the same thing as "Write Log File" on the 3Dx systray. It takes effect immediately if the red text goes away. But that doesn't effect the past. It only tells the driver to start logging from that moment forward. You would ...

I wasn't thinking anything more complicated than:
Computer: Mac M2 Mini
O/S: macOS 13.3
VM: Parallels
Guest O/S: Windows on ARM
Or
ThinkPad T41
O/S: Windows 7
VM: None

Re: SpaceMouse Wireless - SolidWorks 2022 - Won't Reverse Rotation Direction
Can you reverse the direction of other apps? E.g. any of our demos (jet, cube, viewer). If not, open your Device Manager. Look under Human Interface Devices for "SpaceMouse Wireless". If it is not there, let me know and I will tell you how to fix it. I saw another post of yours. This is Wi...

Re: Reverse checkbox function not working
This configuration, Parallels on an ARM64 Mac, is not a configuration that 3DxWare for Windows supports at this time.

Re: Reverse checkbox function not working
From a fresh system, 1) Open the Device Manager->Human Interface Devices. 2) Attach the SpaceMouse Compact. You should see a new HID-compliant device get added (you may need to Action->Scan for hardware changes). 3) Look at the properties of that device. You should see Driver: input.inf, Details->De...

Re: Reverse checkbox function not working
We should be very precise about these names. There may very well be a hid.inf. That's not ours. Our driver is 3DxHID.sys, with inf 3DxHID.inf. You have been successful at installing that on your SpaceMouse Compact (Sunday at least). But it seems that something else comes along to override it. Since ...

Re: Reverse checkbox function not working
The KMJ emulator is not a 3D mouse driver. It is a software Keyboard, Mouse, Joystick emulator. It is what sends the Shift key to your system when you press the Shift key on the devices that have a "Shift" key. It is not necessary for anything else. There is no harm in uninstalling it. It ...

Re: Reverse checkbox function not working
You do have a quite complex setup. You may have to determine the point of failure by eliminating layers. E.g., does it work on the base O/S (MacOS)? Then you know it's not your hardware. Then start adding layers until it stops working. Let the O/S do what it does well. I have no context for the log ...
