You can capture one key globally (e.g. Enter/Delete) and let the others fall down to the F360 function (Remove, etc).
I agree that it certainly is not friendly to do this in notepad.

Re: Unable to load an 3Dxservice.dll resource DLL
You should have at least an "en-US" directory under the <3DxWinCore> installation directory. That directory should have a 3DxService.dll file in it. The <3DxWinCore> installation directory is normally: C:\Program Files\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxWinCore but you may have changed that during the...

Re: Feature request - "APPLY TO ALL APPS"
I like your approach. The current GUI can't help you, but you can do this on your own if you don't mind editing your global.xml file. Here's a thread to get you started The GUI (&LCD if you had one) won't show these assignments but the buttons will do what you assign in global.xml. Attempting to...

Re: SpaceMouse to xinput/controller?
You can tell the driver to output joystick events. There is a <3DxWinCore>/Cfg/JoystickTemplate.xml that shows how to do this. You have to do some XML editing. 1) Have the driver make a cfg for your application by making some change in our "3Dconnexion Properties" GUI. 2) This will make a ...

Re: A question about the WindowCaption element, for use in XML files
What kind of code do you have in mind though? It would need to be something that would run all the time, in the background, watch the cursor position and change the XML file. Now that I think about it, it is fairly impractical for you to do that, especially with one of those languages. Forget I men...

Does the problem occur if you don't have the SpaceMouse attached?

Re: A question about the WindowCaption element, for use in XML files
That is an interesting idea. You would have two cfg files that use <ExecutableName>Maya.exe You would qualify the "3Dmouse" cfg (the one we ship) with the WindowCaption, and the other one having no further qualifiers, would get used for all windows that do not have the matching caption. I'...

Re: Non-default settings make space mouse stop working.
Are you making changes to XML files manually, or using our GUI?
In any case, zip up and send me the contents (and subdirectories) of
%appdata%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg
This is where the changes you make are saved.
Thanks.

Re: Where can I get complete list of the xml key codes and their keyboard keys?
You can also use our GUI to record a macro for your keyboard. Even if you don't need that macro, it will write the correct KeyCode for your keyboard into the XML file. That is a ButtonAction, not directly useful for an Axis. But it will at least tell you the correct key. Unfortunately, the keys are ...

It's a good thing that you asked. I was missing a very important detail. Give this a try (replace your file contents with this): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <Global Default="false" xmlns="" CfgFormatVersion="1.3" ThisFileVersion="&quo...

Re: Reverse checkbox function not working
Your Device Manager should show the device as a "3Dconnexion SpaceMouse Compact". That missing name and the fact that reverse doesn't work, indicates the device driver is not installed on the device. Try manually updating your driver in the Device Manager (for the HID-compliant device). Wh...

You might try disabling them.
In our GUI, Buttons->3Dconnexion->Disabled.
