So now I load up blender and find that left/right axis rotation is not working. (tilting the cap forward/backward and rotating it does work though) I know it's not the device itself, because this feature works in the cubedemo. The 3DxWare window that came up seems to be of no help because everythin...

Re: ubuntu linux blender Z axis rotation missing?
first of all: thanks so much for supporting blender in linux! ...however... It seams to me that there is the Z axis missing? When I play with the test cube, I can rotate all axis just fine. But when I work in Blender, the Z axis rotation doesn't do anything. (when I turn Z on and off in 3DxWare und...

Re: Just wondering...
As the coder for blender who added most of the functionality (fly mode is Steve work), please remember this is early alpha code. We did release that at 3DConnexion request to have something to show on siggraph. I fully agree. I can't stress this enough and I repeat it to everyone. All of this is ex...

Re: Just wondering...
Just wondering why the fly mode and the turntable modes are separate in Blender. This is not the case with the other CAD apps I have used (Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA...) where the full 6 degrees are all concurrently available (except in 2D modes). Is this just the nature of the 3D space in Blender...

Can anyone confirm that this plugin does not work with the Spaceball 5000 USB device? Honestly I didn't try that, but I will. I can tell you though that the device is still supported by our drivers on Windows and Linux, so in theory it *should* work. I'll get back to you. BTW are you on Windows or ...

Re: Use of Spacenavigator on Mac with Bootcamp+WindowsXP ??
If I would install "Bootcamp" ( http://www.apple.com/de/macosx/bootcamp/ ) on my Mac so it could run Windows XP, would it be possible to install the Spacenavigator windows drivers and to have support for all the applications listed here http://www.3dconnexion.com/solutions/cad/2aa.php ?? ...

Hi Jim, is your thread exiting immediately after the spaceNavigatorBootstrap method has completed? That's what it seems like. Please verify it using ThreadViewer.app. The thread spawned (detached) using detachNewThreadSelector: will exit if you don't set up a loop after the call to the spaceNavigato...

Yeah, I will spend few months waiting for the new release, and a year to learn a new software that may not fullfil all my needs. What a solution ! :) Prune, I don't understand what you mean. It seems to me the solution is send back the SN to 3Dconnexion, stay with Cinema 4D (but i'll have a look to...
