As most of the computer manufacturers dropped to integrate serial interface into their new computer models, 3Dconnexion dropped similarly the support for serial devices in the new 3DxSoftware releases.

The navigation in Pro/E is a PTC implementation. I would like to ask you to contact PTC with this issue as 3Dconnexion has no access to the source code of the applications owned by PTC.

Unfortunately Inventor 9 is not supported by Autodesk any more. The problem is that I can't reproduce the issue.
