Re: Disable mouse wheel emulation entirely on spacenavigator?
Not sure if this will work for you, but stop the 3DxWare driver (Start menu > "Stop 3DxWare") and move the "AppDefCfg_KMJ.xml" file (do not delete) to your Desktop or Documents folder. The file is located in the "Cfg" folder of the 3DxWinCore installation directory, nor...

Re: space explorer
There may be a newer version of 3DxWare 10 but it will not apply to such an old device as the SpaceExplorer USB.

Re: IOKit.hid
If you have installed the 3DxWare 10 driver, then you will not get any data from the device using IOKit. This is because the driver exclusively grabs the device. When you uninstall the driver, you will notice that hte system uses the SpaceMouse data to control the mouse pointer, a undesirable featur...

Re: 3DxVirtualLCD
I'm assuming you have a keyboard device (the Numpad Pro and/or Keyboard Pro types). Open the "3Dconnexion Settings" panel, select your keyboard device, click on the "Buttons" button and then clear the "Always show On-Screen Display" check box. The "Always shown [.....

The readme.txt file is often out-of-date since 3Dconnexion, like all Trimble partners, is under a confidentiality agreement to not publicly discuss pre-release versions of SketchUp.

Re: IOKit interaction stops working when driver claims SpaceMouse
Not sure what we can do about that. As explain in the topic that you linked, if our driver does not claim the device exclusively, the SpaceMouse moves the device pointer, something that the vast majority of users finds undesirable. We do not know why Apple elected to use SpaceMouse devices to move t...

Did someone from 3Dconnexion redirected you here? If so, could you please share this person's first name and surname initial (or send me the full name over a private message)?

Re: Does SpaceMouse work with Google Earth on macOS 13 Ventura?
Just FYI. The issue with Google Earth not working in v. 10.8.1 of 3DxWare 10 (internally tracked with issue identifier MAC-395) was resolved in v. 10.8.2, released in late Sep 2023.

Re: not working with cinema 4d, again...
Support for Maxon Cinema 4D 2024 was included in v. 10.8.2 of 3DxWare 10 for macOS, released on Sep 27.
Regrettably, we are not always able to avoid the gap between an application being released by a vendor and a 3DxWare 10 version with the updated add-in.
