Re: driver update
I agree with you about the habit but the question is how I form a new habit of use if I can only use it with two or three programs? 1_3DMax, 2_Maya, 3_Autocad and some Google... but on the other hand I have Mudbox 2019, Zbrush, UvLayout, Substance Painter, Mari, Marmoset, Rizom Uv and others 3D p...

Re: driver for windows
Driver version 10.6.2 has been withdrawn for stability issues (crashes), that's why the current driver is back at 10.6.0.

Re: Spacemouse pro - Sudden acceleration in Revit
Hi UtaSH,
Thank you for letting me know. Actually most of the instability came from clicking while the driver froze, so with some patience this version is usable. The acceleration in Revit was resolved by tweaking the movement speeds ever so slightly and then it suddenly disappeared.

Re: 3DxService.exe crashed due to 2 SME plugged in to a PC
I don't think it is related, but note that driver 10.6.2 was withdrawn. Customer support told me that they were aware of driver instability and crashes on this version.

Re: Spacemouse pro - Sudden acceleration in Revit
Unfortunately, I am also experiencing some driver instability on 10.6.2 when I'm customising settings and exporting them. A couple of times my computer froze (white screen) with the 3DxSmartUI service reportedly crashing. Every five minutes or so the driver freezes for some half a minute as well. Is...

UI improvements proposal
Since I'm moving to a new version of Autodesk software, I am in the process of reconfiguring my Spacemouse pro. Some of the settings are currently cumbersome to adjust. For instance, editing a radial menu, requires three to four steps to enter a given menu before any edits can be made. I think that ...

Spacemouse pro - Sudden acceleration in Revit
During migrating my settings from Revit 2019 to 2020 (Windows 10, latest build) I noticed sudden acceleration among the Z-axis, where movement speed would more than double at certain times. It is also the only direction and movement in which this behaviour is displayed. My Spacemouse pro does not do...

Re: Autodesk Revit
Revit supports 3dconnexion devices, however it’s not fully implemented. You cannot map native functions, such as: a wall, window, trim extents all, line, and so on to a button or radial menu button. In other words: you can’t find these functions using the 3dconnexion UI. What you can do is map them ...

Re: Navigation In Google Earth Win10/64
Inside Google Earth pro, go to tools > options > Navigation tab and then under Non-mouse Controller: check enable controller and check enable visualisation. That's all, no need to fiddle around in the 3Dconnexion UI, other than setting your preferred speeds and buttons.

Re: Configuring buttons for 3ds Max 2019 hiccups
Thanks for the heads-up about the new driver and solving multiple bugs, much appreciated. I've been using it for a week and it works like a charm, it's by far the most stable driver for 3ds Max sofar. Concerning the hiccups, they do still persist, however, they do no longer freeze or crash the drive...

Re: Can't customize Wireless CAD mouse buttons in Revit
Currently Revit lacks full support for 3dconnexion devices, therefore mapping macros to a key is fine, however you cannot natively add, let's say the wall command, to a button. This unfortunately is also true for the 3d mice: eg. Spacenavigator and Spacemouse pro. I just submitted a request to add s...

Re: Configuring buttons for 3ds Max 2019 hiccups
To follow up, having removed these two plugins saved some time and increased stability somewhat. The amount of search results has decreased, so that has helped. It is still quite slow though.

Configuring buttons for 3ds Max 2019 hiccups
Today Instarted the tedious task of reconfiguring all buttons for my Spacemouse Pro wireless for the second time this week. Customer service advised me to do so due to the button configuration not being applied (default ones will be used instead of my own, despite my configuration showing up in the ...

Re: CTRL ESC ALT not Working - other Buttons are OK
I experienced the same problem with the Ctrl, Shift, Alt and Esc buttons on my Spacemouse pro wireless. Using a macro for one of these buttons didn’t work, as mentioned, neither did the defaults. For now I’ve been using Shift lock instead of shift to clone objects in 3ds Max 2019, I have yet to chec...

Re: Spacemouse Pro Wireless - map macro to rotation axis
As a follow up, I've discovered that Revit 2019 and Photoshop CC 2015 (and up) are not officially supported, despite both Photoshop and Revit being listed as officially supported in the list of supported programs . This is a bummer to me as I use these programs a lot, so please add full support (for...
