Bingo! It works connected by cable, doesn't via Bluetooth.

And it works on Safari. This seems to be an issue isolated to a feature (close tab with a button 3 click) on a specific application (Microsoft Edge) on your machine. It appears that you are editing the wrong configuration for Microsoft Edge.

middle clicking on a tab (in order to close it) doesn't. We cannot reproduce this. Using the middle mouse button ("click button 3" action) on the tab control in either Safari or Edge will close the tab. Don't know what to do or try... in Edge configuring Middle button as "click"...

Sorry for the many posts, I'm posting as I'm testing.

In Edge: configuring wheel button as click button 3 works for tab closing, same configuration on Middle button or Virtual Radial button doesn't.

Always in Edge: middle clicking on a link works (it opens a new tab), middle clicking on a tab (in order to close it) doesn't.

In Safari, Finder and other apps Middle Button works as expected.
I'm experiencing this in Edge only, configuring buttons or Radial Menus. Very strange.
