3DConnexion SpaceMouse Wrieless

Post by hbgydxlmh »

Hello, I am sorry to bother you, but I want to buy your 3DConnexion SpaceMouce Wireless 3d mouse. I want to ask about the secondary development. I know that this device has six degrees of freedom, can I get the offset of each degree of freedom? How can I get it? I hope to get your answer. Thank you very much.

SpaceMouse products are USB HID "multi-axis controller" devices. "HID" stands for "Human Interface Device" and is a standard defined by the USB Implementers Forum.

The latest SDK for Windows (3DxWare SDK v. 4.0) follows a "camera control" paradigm instead of simply transporting the 3D mouse data to the application. If you are looking to access the raw device data, then you can use a system interface such as Raw Input or an older SDK from 3Dconnexion. For the later, send a message to 3Dconnexion's API Support (contact details in the software developer programme web page, registration is required).
