Using a SpaceNavigator as a mouse/trackball
Has anyone developed a driver for the SpaceNavigator so it will function as a mouse? I'd not like moving my mouse all over the desk (especially when using multiple monitors) and I don't like trackballs. Why can't I have a SpaceMouse for my left hand and a SpaceNavigator for my right hand?
Can I use 2 "Space mice"?
What happens if I have 2 space mice. Can I configure them independantly?

If you are a developer, yes, you can address each attached device separately. We have modified the puzzle demo to show how effective two-handed 3D interaction can be. In this case, one device controls the puzzle piece, the other controls the view, so you can see what you are doing. It is quite compelling.pg121 wrote:What happens if I have 2 space mice. If you are a user, you can configure two different types of devices separately, say, one as a 2D mouse and the other as a 3D mouse. They have to be two different types of devices (e.g., SpaceNavigator and SpaceMouse Pro).
