QT 4.2 Application using OpenInventor (Coin3D) and OpenGL

Post by redwhitered »

Aiming at a portable application I am using Qt 4.2,
OpenInventor (Coin3D) and OpenGL (SoQt).

I don't wan't to use ATL or MFC.

What is the best way
to get data from the Space Navigator
into the application?

Hi Joe,

Trolltech (Qt) is thinking about supporting 3Dconnexion devices. But they won't unless enough developers ask for it. Please send them an email.

You don't have to use MFC or ATL, but it definitely makes your coding easier. If you can use COM, use the new SDK. If you don't want to do that, use the old Windows SDK from our archive site.
