3Dconnexion driver support for SpacePilot Pro on Mac OS X

Post by elvisjohndowson »

Hi,
Would 3Dconnexion be releasing a proper driver for the SpacePilot Pro anytime soon?

At the moment, I'm using the SpaceNavigator drivers 3dxwaremacSE-v1_6_1. It exposes all 6 axes and the 2 buttons, but the rest are not active.

It would be really good if you could release a compatible driver, or if you could provide the sources for the the existing driver, so that it can be enhanced by people like myself, to enable the rest of the driver functionality.

Best regards,

This was from 2010!!!! Nothing has been changed since then!
2014 there is no sufficient driver, that supports the display of the space pilot pro in a proper way for the Retina MacBook Pro and OSX Mavericks. For about 400 € it's bad...

Hi,

we have released a new version of 3DxWare for Mac OS X yesterday. The issue with the Retina Display is fixed with this release. Please give it a try and let us know your feedback. Thanks!
